Watkin’s Branch
Set on an old Native American hunting ground, this area of Mountain Brook was pioneered in the early 1820s.
The Watkins were among the first settlers and landowners in the area. As the land began to develop it was of utmost importance to preserve its natural beauty.
It was fondly referred to as Watkin’s Branch until the turn of the century when it was renamed Mountain Brook.
Located in Mountain Brook Village, serving hearty small plates sourced from Alabama farms paired with an extensive bourbon list, craft beer, wine and other spirits.
